Solid wood board from selected material

Register a new solid wood board in the library from the selected material. This tool creates no geometry: it opens the board creator in solid wood mode.

How it works

1. Select one or more faces, components or groups carrying the material to register
2. Activate the tool — the board creator opens in solid wood mode
3. The material field is pre-filled with the most frequent material of the selection
4. Adjust the board settings as needed, then confirm to save it to the library

Keys

• Esc = Cancel the operation

Tips

• No solid wood part is added to the model — only a board entry in the library
• Select entities with a consistent material to get the best pre-fill
• The tool works with faces, component instances and groups
