Panel from Face Tool

Create a panel by clicking on an existing face in the model — the panel dimensions and orientation are derived directly from the face.

How it works

1. Choose a material and thickness in the board selector that opens automatically
2. Hover over a face in the model — a panel preview appears aligned to that face
3. Click to place the panel on the face

Keys

• Ctrl / Option = Flip the panel direction (reverse Z axis)
• Esc = Cancel the operation

Tips

• The board selector opens automatically — choose your material and thickness before clicking
• Panel orientation follows the face normal; use Ctrl/Option to flip it
• The panel origin is automatically repositioned after placement for clean component alignment
